Senior Sales Account Manager
The Senior Sales Account Manager is responsible for driving business growth and optimizing client satisfaction. This role involves developing effective strategies and plans to expand accounts, staying updated on market trends to provide valuable insights to clients, and ensuring accurate reporting and forecasting to support financial planning.
- Ensure sales target achievement by developing and executing effective sales strategies, leveraging market insights, and building strong relationships with key customers.
- Develop account plans and strategies for growth, ensuring alignment with the company’s sales goals and objectives.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts to assist in financial planning and resource allocation.
- Conduct sales activities and engage in face-to-face meetings with clients outside the office, accounting for approximately 20% of the job responsibilities.
- Prepare and deliver regular reports and updates on account status, sales activities, and revenue projections.
- Stay informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitors to make informed recommendations to clients.
- Onboard and train newly hired, offering guidance on product knowledge, sales techniques, and compliance with regulations.
- Collaborate with the business unit manager to develop sales strategies and tactics ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Science, Agriculture, or Veterinary.
- 3-6 years of experience in sales or account management within the medical and pharmaceutical field.
- Demonstrate excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively interact with others and establish and maintain positive customer relationships.
- Be familiar with the food industry in which the food business unit operates and have an understanding of the services of analysis needed by the food industry.
- Excellent in spoken and written English.
- Be familiar with CRM software and other sales-related tools.
- Have a car for conducting sales activities and meetings.
- Preferably reside in Cairo or Giza.
