Exosomes purification, quantification & characterizationÂ
Exosomes are small extracellular vesicles ranging from (30-100) nm in diameter. They are secreted organelles with critical role in signaling between cells. they have the properties of their original mother cell. Exosomes secreted from some cell types, including mesenchymal stem cells, carrying biological factors implicated in the protection, immunomodulation ,regeneration, and angiogenesis of damaged tissues. Due to these properties, exosomes have attracted attention in regenerative therapies. Stem cell derived exosomes also have other applications in many fields as: 1-Diagnostic biomarker: exosomes can be used for the early diagnosis of many diseases as Tuberculosis.2-Regenerative medicine: stem cell derived exosomes have regenerative properties as a new tool in regenerative research, have implications for cardiac and tendon regeneration, wound healing. 3-Drug delivery system: Exosomes are attracting the curiosity of researchers to develop exosome-based drug delivery systems. since exosomes have many properties as: a-High biocompatibility(non immunogenic).b-Tissue specific-Long circulating half life-time.d-high compartmentalization-cargo protection from degradation. we also provide stem cell derived exosome characterization using Transmission electron microscopy images and flowcytometry. we also provide measuring exosomes concentration using BCA & Bradford assay kits
