Conventional PCR services
Gene expression analysis allows the researcher to precisely measure functional gene activity. Various questions that could be addressed via gene expression analysis include detecting alteration of gene expression due to pharmacological treatment, oncogenic transformation of cells, and other pathological conditions as infectious diseases and autoimmune disorders.
Applications
Amounts and types of mRNA molecules in a cell reflect the function of that cell. Semi-quantitative determination of mRNA transcripts in a given biological sample is a powerful method to detect alteration of gene expression in various pathological conditions using RT-PCR technique.
 Sample acceptance/rejection criteria
- Sample forms: Cell culture pellets, tissue samples, blood, microbial colonies, extracted RNA and cDNA
- Important note: sample collection and storage techniques have a great impact on the integrity of RNA in your samples and are the sole responsibility of the researcher. Cell pellets and tissue samples for RNA extraction will be only accepted if have been stored in RNA later solution and stored at -80 C or in liquid nitrogen. If samples have been stored properly, RNA later or dry ice may be provided by Nawah sample transport upon the researcher’s request at an additional cost.
