Cell Culture Assistant Researcher

Job brief:

• As a key member of our laboratory, you will be responsible for handling laboratory activities and comply with the lab management system integrity.

Job Tasks:

1. Carry out experiments and interpret data related to cell lines to meet service requests and achieve research and development objectives.
2. Develop and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for experimental protocols and laboratory equipment related to cell lines.
3. Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory equipment to ensure optimal performance.
4. Contribute to the development and resolution of issues related to new experimental protocols within the cell culture section.
5. Maintain precise and comprehensive records of all quality activities, adhering to established quality procedures (QPs) and test methods.
6. Assist in the implementation of quality assurance practices within the laboratory.
7. Strictly adhere to stringent laboratory safety policies and procedures

Job Qualifications:

➢ Must-to-Have:

1. Bachelor’s degree in science or pharmacy.
2. 1-4 years of experience in disciplines such as molecular biology, cell culture, pharmacology, biochemistry, and microbiology, or related fields.
3. Shows a high level of commitment, self-discipline, and perseverance in executing research tasks.

➢ Nice-to-have:

1. Experience with laboratory equipment and techniques.
2. Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and adherence to good laboratory practices (GLP).
3. Demonstrates strong problem-solving skills and the ability to systematically troubleshoot experiments or unexpected results.
4. Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and present research findings.
5. Preferred residence in Cairo or Giza.
