Nanotechnology Assistant Researcher

Job brief:

• As a Nanotechnology Assistant Researcher, you will play a vital role in our laboratory by conducting various laboratory activities and ensuring compliance with the lab management system.

Job Tasks:

1. Design, optimize, and prepare various nanosystems for drug delivery applications.
2. Perform common characterization tasks for nanoparticles, including size analysis, zeta potential measurement, in vitro drug release, encapsulation efficiency, DSC, FTIR, etc.
3. Analyze and manipulate data using statistical methods.
4. Write reports and engage in discussions based on research findings.
5. Develop and adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) for experimental protocols and laboratory equipment.
6. Assist in implementing quality assurance practices within the laboratory.
7. Strictly adhere to stringent laboratory safety policies and procedures.

Job Qualifications:

➢ Must-to-Have:

1. Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy only.
2. One year of experience in a research field related to nanotechnology for drug delivery applications at a university, research institute, or pharmaceutical company
3. Shows high commitment, self-discipline, and perseverance in executing research tasks.
4. Familiarity with laboratory safety protocols and adherence to good laboratory practices (GLP).

➢ Nice-to-have:

1. Potential ability to pursue master’s and Ph.D. degrees in the field of pharmaceutical nanotechnology.
2. Understanding of ISO standards.
3. Proficiency in statistical analysis and data manipulation.
4. Experience with software for data analysis and presentations.
5. Previous involvement in animal experimentation.
6. Effective communication skills for collaboration with team members and presentation of research findings.
7. Preferred residence in Cairo or Giza.
